Viktor and Rolf Perfume, Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb Perfume
Viktor & Rolf are Dutch fashion designers and they developed Flowerbomb to have a wide market potential which is quite unlike their clothing, that is definitely for people with a certain taste. The most striking thing about Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb perfume, upon first inspection, is that the bottle is shaped like a grenade.
Flowerbomb was released in 2005 and it is a wonderful combination of floral scents with a heart of patchouli and vanilla. The perfumers who developed the fragrance are named Olivier Polge, Carlos Benaïm and Domitille Bertier. Unlike its name, the scent is no where near as forthright as a ‘bomb’ and it is initially mellow and relaxing like running honey.
This Viktor and Rolf perfume is a hugely clever perfume design as each floral is designed to reveal one after the other as the perfume develops on your skin. Initially freesia comes through followed by jasmine with a hint of aniseed all rounded off with an interlacing of vanilla. The base note features beautiful woody amber with musk.
