Stella McCartney released her original Stella McCartney perfume in 2004 and since then she has ensured a new perfume, packaged as a limited edition, comes out every summer. 2011 saw the debut of Sheer Stella McCartney perfume which is perfect for the warm summer months.

As with all the Stella McCartney perfumes, Sheer Stella perfume is based on florals of rose. Rather unusually, 2011's Sheer Stella contains organic roses that originate from the Persian mountains. Stella McCartney perfume carries top notes of apple, lemon and rose with a middle note featuring peonies and a base note of amber.

It has to be said, that all the Stella perfume releases really do smell much the same but they each have a slight unique quality. Stella McCartney perfume is a pure classic on the world's perfume stage and uses rose florals in a modern and elegant way creating a beautiful fragrance with a great amber base note. Some reviewers have found 2011's Sheer Stella to be ozonic and to possess a definite seaside fresh quality which sets it apart from its counterparts.
