Prada Perfume for Women

Prada launched its very first perfume in 2004 which was created by the perfumers Carlos Benaim, Max Gavarry and Clement Gavarry. The Prada Eau de Parfum has a complex combination of notes containing bergamot, orange, mimosa, rose, schinus molle, peru balsam, patchouli and a great base note of musk and sandalwood. More recent evolutions of this original scent has been the Prada perfume Amber.

Prada described the scent as being a modern twist on essential oils. They outlined the fragrance as mainly being built around the amber note with four essential scents surrounding it in the form of sandalwood oil, patchouli, labdanum and benzoin, which are respectively from India, Indonesia, France and Siam. This makes for a wonderfully exotic and cosmopolitan fragrance.

When you try Prada perfume for women yourself, you will indeed see how focussed it is on the amber as it is very prominent even from your first spritz. The top note does contain other ingredients such as citrus and floral notes and the base is characterised by the vanilla. However, even when this scent settles on your skin, you will find that the amber is truly alive and kicking.
