Katy Perry is well known for being a pop star but now she has joined the long list of celebrities who have jumped on the perfume band wagon by releasing her own perfume named Katy Perry Purr perfume. She has partnered with Gigantic Parfums, which is a new perfume company, to create her signature scent which was released in 2011.

This Katy Perry perfume sums up and captures Katy’s quirky personality, even down to the bottle design which is in the shape of a purple cat. The scent itself may not be the most elegant or sophtisicated perfume you have ever experienced but it is a youthful, fresh scent that bears notes of fruits and florals. Its top notes comes forth as apple-peach with a green note that is green bamboo combined with middle and base notes containing jasmine, fressia, rose, vanilla orchid and good old amber, sandalwood and musk. This perfume is perfect for its target audience of teenagers and girls in their early twenties.
